THE FOUNDER'S STORY

For more than three decades, Dr. Peter Anya has dedicated his life to developing people, nurturing potential, and helping individuals discover purpose, leadership, and meaningful impact.

His journey spans both ministry and professional leadership, giving him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing young people in today's world.

As a pastor, mentor, teacher, and youth leader, Dr. Anya has spent over 30 years investing in the lives of young people across campuses, churches, fellowships, and communities. From his years of service in campus ministry at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, to leadership roles in various churches and ministries, including serving as Resident Pastor of House on the Rock, Asaba, he has consistently committed himself to raising individuals of character, purpose, and positive influence.

Throughout these years of ministry, he witnessed firsthand the struggles, aspirations, and untapped potential of countless young people. He saw talented individuals searching for direction, purpose, mentorship, and opportunities to become all they were created to be.

Alongside his pastoral calling, Dr. Anya built a distinguished career in Human Resource and Management Consulting. Working closely with organizations, business leaders, employers, and professionals for more than a decade, he gained deep insight into the realities of the modern workplace.

Repeatedly, he encountered a troubling challenge.

Employers expressed concerns about the growing gap between academic qualifications and workplace readiness. Many young people possessed certificates and credentials but lacked critical employability skills, leadership capacity, professional discipline, emotional intelligence, workplace ethics, and practical experience.

As he reflected on these realities, Dr. Anya recognized that the challenges organizations faced in the workplace often began much earlier in life.

• Many young people were navigating important life decisions without adequate mentorship.
• Many were leaving school without practical life skills.
• Many lacked exposure to career opportunities and workplace expectations.
• Many possessed extraordinary potential but lacked the support systems necessary to fully develop it.

It became increasingly clear that transformation does not happen by chance. Young people need guidance. They need mentors. They need opportunities. They need leadership development. They need practical skills. They need positive role models. They need communities that believe in their potential.

Drawing from decades of pastoral leadership and professional consulting experience, Dr. Anya became convinced that lasting societal transformation begins with intentional youth transformation.

• A platform that would help young people develop both character and competence.
• A platform that would prepare them not only for employment but for leadership.
• A platform that would inspire them to become responsible citizens, ethical leaders, successful professionals, innovative entrepreneurs, and agents of positive change.

This vision gave birth to Neubrid Foundation for Youth Development.

Today, Neubrid stands as a youth transformation movement committed to raising a New Breed of young people who are equipped with the skills, values, mentorship, opportunities, and leadership capacity needed to thrive in life and contribute meaningfully to society.

What began as a burden for the next generation has grown into a movement dedicated to transforming youths and reforming society.

Through mentorship, leadership development, career guidance, internship opportunities, skill acquisition programs, scholarships, advocacy, and community engagement, Neubrid continues to empower young people to become the leaders, innovators, professionals, entrepreneurs, and changemakers of tomorrow.
